Darling Buds Florist invite children (young and old) in Cullompton to write a ‘Message to Mum’ and it’ll be posted in one of their special window displays which will be running right up to Mothering Sunday on Sunday 26th March.
£1.00 a message and all proceeds go to FORCE. All messages will also be entered into a raffle and winner will win a small floral display. (Winner to be announced on Tuesday 28th March).
If your mum is in Cullompton, but you’re not local enough to pop in, you can make a donation online via: Virgin Money and the Darling Buds team will write the message for you.
St Davids’ Singers will be delighting you with “Music to Move” at the Sidholme Music Room, Sidmouth on Sunday 26th March at 3.30pm.
Entry is free with a collection for FORCE and the Sidholme Music Room Restoration Fund.
It will be on Friday 31st March, starting at 7.30 pm (with doors open at 7) at St Thomas Methodist Church.
Tickets are £8 for adults; £5 for children between the ages of 5 and 14; and free for under 5s.

The Teignmouth Friends of FORCE group will be holding their annual Easter Fayre on Saturday 1st April. It will start at 10am until 12noon in the Methodist Church Hall.
There will be lots of stalls including books, gifts, cakes, tombola, toys, plants and much more.

Our Exeter Friends of FORCE group are out again on Sunday 9th April for the second supermarket collection of the weekend. This time, they will be at Alphington Sainsburys’ from 10.15am- 4pm.
Please support them as much as you can by leaving a donation in one of their buckets, in return for a lovely blue FORCE sticker!
Since 2009 our supporters have served up delicious fare in their own homes or at village halls, pubs, restaurants, a supermarket café, a church and on a farm, raising over £70,000!
The second suggested Spring date is Saturday 22nd April, but if you’d like to join in, we’d love to hear from you – whichever date you choose.
This year’s London Marathon is on Sunday 23rd April and we already know that Trevor Olver, Heidi Wills, Wayne Edwards and Andrea Hone will be running for Team FORCE, so huge thanks and good luck to them.

The CycleJust4U team have organised a Golf Day at Woodbury Park on Thursday 11th May to support their JOGLE fundraising in aid of The Exeter Foundation, FORCE, Bramble Ward (Women and Child’s Health) and the Dale Palmer Discretionary Trust.

The CycleJust4U team will start the 900+ mile journey from John O’Groats to Lands’ End on July 19th.

The Final Shebang Ball will be at Tiverton Rugby Club on Saturday 12th August, starting at 7.30 pm.
‘Leave Before Dawn’ will be performing, and there will be a DJ and lots of dancing – fuelled by a hog-roast and a buffet.
There will be square games and a raffle, and the night will again be raising money for FORCE and ELF.

The Jurassic Coast 10k is a stunning run, encompassing part of the Jurassic Coast footpath, river paths and rural tracks.
The next JC10k will be held on Saturday 26th August 2017.

Jurassic Coast 10k is not for profit and all money raised after costs is donated to FORCE Cancer Charity, a wonderful local charity that has played a vital role in local cancer services for over 20 years.

The special nature of the event makes for a very fun and friendly day which everyone enjoys.

It’s a Knock Out is returning to this year in aid of FORCE Cancer Charity on Saturday 2nd September at Topsham Rugby Club.
Come and take part in this amazing day – teams of 10 are needed to take part. The entry will be capped at 72 teams – 720 participants who must be over 17 years of age.
12 wet and dry obstacles will be used in the games to jump over, jump through and run around! All you need to bring is a sense of humour, fancy dress, a tent, a mascot and a joker!!!

Exeter’s Great West Run takes an exciting 13.1 miles route through the heart of Exeter. This half marathon has it all; a journey through the city centre, followed by pretty country lanes and stunning views across Exeter.
New for 2017 the event also boasts a stadium finish, with the race village, and start/finish moving to Exeter Arena Athletics Stadium.
