Health and well-being

There is a National Survivorship initiative (now known as Living Well With and Beyond Cancer) that is being rolled out in different formats across Britain, and FORCE has been working collaboratively with the RD&E to provide Health and Wellbeing Clinics to people soon after diagnosis. This has been a pilot that is about to enter its second phase.

These clinics are available at present only for people with specific cancers who are referred by their Cancer Nurse Specialist (CNS) though it is hoped that, when the pilot has been completed, they will be offered to all appropriate patients with a cancer diagnosis.

We are offering a programme entitled After the Treatment Finishes which consists of three sessions and is for the cancer patient but each person may bring someone who is their main support (partner, friend or family member). These sessions can be booked individually or as a set of three.
